Reservations may be made by phone, email or mail. We require a credit card number to guarantee your room(s). We accept V, MC, D, DC, and cash or check.
Because we are a small bed and breakfast, cancellations greatly affect us. When you reserve a room, we agree to turn away all other requests for that room. If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days in advance for any reason, you are subject to one night's room charge for the cancellation. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not arrive for your reservation as scheduled, or depart early, you are subject to charge for the entire stay booked.
We offer special rates for West Virginia state employees, and arrangements for business travelers, for both short and long-term, and midweek stays. AAA and AARP discounts are only honored on weekdays. We do not honor discounts of any kind for the guest house.

The Lamplighter Room: Located on the first floor, it offers an attached bath with an alcohol-burning fireplace and a queen-sized bed.

The Monroe Room: Named after Miss Ethel Monroe, the third owner, who occupied the house from 1901 to 1927, this room has an attached bath and a full-sized bed. This was originally the boys' room.

It has 3 bedrooms (consisting of 1 queen bed, one full bed and two single beds - total) , 11/2 baths, full kitchen, dining room, living room and a delightful sunroom. It can sleep 8 people comfortably. This house is perfect for friends traveling together, family vacations and reunions, and small business conferences. We can accept well-behaved dogs in the Guest House; owners are fully responsible for their pets, and arrangements must be made in advance. This price includes accommodations for 4. There is a charge for each additional person. No more than 8 people may stay in The Hampshire Guest House at one time, due to fire code restrictions.
Rates - 4 Persons (Sleeps up to 6 comfortably): 2 or More Nights: $250-$475 . 1 Night: $300-$525 (SEASONAL)
OUR RULES:
. Smoking is permitted only on the outside porches, the deck or the patio. Note: A deep cleaning fee will be charged to your account if there is evidence of smoke.
. Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times. Only well-behaved children are welcome at the Hampshire House. Note: Any damage resulting from a child will be charged to your account.
. We cannot accept pets in Hampshire House - Dogs are welcome in the Guest House (above). Note: Any damage resulting from a pet will be charged to your account.
. Quiet hours begin around 10:30 pm, unless you have rented the entire Inn.
